Guest Article: Disembodied by Joanna M. Weston

In the spirit of Halloween Joanna sent in a Halloween poem! If you enjoy it make sure to check her blog out over at: http://www.1960willowtree.wordpress.com

feet on the path
black shoes and navy socks
walk without gender or self
marking the wet path
with small neat prints

the legs are other-where
moved off or left behind
the body perhaps asleep

yet these feet stride
without hesitation
to their objective
shoes precisely tied
socks uniformly turned

the feet tidy    definite
seem to have forgotten
to dress for an encounter
with ghosts
